This month marks a notable addition to Habitat’s ReStore roster, this one in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Europe’s first ReStore will open in Lisburn, just southwest of Belfast along the M1, the country’s main highway. The store will feature building-related and do-it-yourself home-improvement products. Donations have already been arriving at the 17,500-square-foot space, including 100 desks contributed by a relocating company.

Habitat remains deeply committed to building a shared future for Northern Ireland, working to reconcile and regenerate communities, bringing volunteers together and deepening their engagement, developing leaders and active global citizens,” says Jenny Williams, Habitat Northern Ireland’s chief executive. “ReStore is another opportunity to rebuild and restore relationships.”
